Official in E China probed for graft

An official in east China's Fujian Province is being investigated for suspected bribe-taking, the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) announced Monday.

Xu Rongyong, head of the publicity department of Putian Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), is under investigation by the Fujian provincial procuratorate, said the SPP.

Xu is also a former member of the committee's standing committee. Endi
