Tokyo stocks rise 0.43 pct on falling global bond yields

Tokyo stocks rose 0.43 percent on Monday morning on falling global government bond yields and domestic companies' strong earnings.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average was up 84.20 points, from Friday to 19,817.12. The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange gained 10.91 points, or 0.68 percent, to 1,618.02.

Gainers were led by insurance, pulp and paper and nonferrous metals issues. Endi
