Tokyo shares open lower following losses in U.S. market

Tokyo shares open lower on Wednesday tracing declines in the overnight U.S. market.

At 9:15 a.m., the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average lost 115.37 points, or 0.59 percent, from Tuesday to 19,509.47.

The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange was down 11.26 points, or 0.70 percent, to 1, 591.01. Endi
