Tajikistan to mark National Running Day

Tajikistan will mark the National Running Day with races taking place all over the country on Sunday, the country's Committee for Youth, Sports and Tourism Affairs said on Tuesday.

The Dushanbe race will begin at Varzob district and ends at the Navruzgoh Complex in Dushanbe's hippodrome, with the participation of sports veterans, disabled people, students, entrepreneurs as well as representatives of diplomatic missions and international organizations.

The race features three distances - three, five and 10 kilometers.

The National Running Day, which has been held since 1996, attracted a record total of 100,000 people in 2008. Endi
