Tajikistan's Majidov wins gold at Cadet European Judo Cup in Romania

Tajik judoka Hurshed Majidov won the gold medal at the Cadet European Judo Cup that ended on Sunday in Cluj Napoca, Romania, Tajikistan's National Olympic Committee (NOC) said on Tuesday.

Majidov claimed the men's over 90kg gold, by beating Hungary's Richard Vakzulik, Alexander Ksrmanovich of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbian Vladimir Kostik and Hungarian Cristoff Fabosa.

The European Judo Cup was for the cadets (boys and girls) between 15 and 17. The two-day event attracted 484 judokas from 28 countries.
