-- Given the negotiations with Greece over further credit, there will now be open discussions about holding a possible referendum in the troubled Mediterranean country.

"It would be perhaps even a proper measure to let the Greek people decide," said German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble in Brussels before a meeting of euro zone finance ministers.
