Indian stocks open lower

Indian stocks opened lower Friday with the BSE benchmark index Sensex opening at 26,857.21, 258.10 points or 0.97 percent up from the previous close of 26,599.11 points.

Indian stocks have remained volatile over the past several sessions due to global sell-off, rising oil prices and foreign portfolio investors' selling spree. Endi
