Tokyo stocks rise 0.31 pct on global bond selloff ebbs

Tokyo stocks rose 0.31 percent in the morning session of Friday after a recent surge in global bond selling took a breather

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average was up 58.95 points from Thursday to 19,350.94. The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange gained 7.45 points, or 0.47 percent, to 1,582.09.

Gainers were led by fishery, agriculture and bank issues. Endi
