Chinese shares plunge 2.77 pct Thursday

Chinese shares plunged on Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down by 2.77 percent to finish at 4,112.21 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index dropped 0.15 percent to close at 14,114.73 points.

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's Nasdaq-style board of growth enterprises, fell 1.42 percent to end at 2,806.05 points. Endi
