Prince Harry charms Sydney at his farewell from Australia

Xinhua, May 7, 2015 Adjust font size:

The British Prince Harry said goodbye on Thursday to Australia after a month long military deployment.

The Opera House was the backdrop and hundreds of people cheered him on while he was dressed in his combat uniform and showed his appreciation for the warm welcome the country has given him in three cities and the outback he has been based.

He posed for selfies, shook hands with onlookers and displayed the charm which has made him a royal favorite.

He first completed a military manoeuvre above Sydney in the early hours and visited a British veteran of the war in Afghanistan who lost both his legs and is being treated at a world- class facility in Sydney.

The Prince is now headed to New Zealand before he retires from the British military after a distinguished decade long career. Endi
