Laos crushes Indonesia 2-0 at AFF Women' s Championship

Laos defeated Indonesia 2-0 in the second match of the 2015 AFF Women' s Championship on Friday evening in Vietnam' s Ho Chi Minh City.

Early in the first half Laotian mid-fielder Vannida Soukphanya delivered a shot to beat Indonesia goalkeeper Vera Lestari and put her team 1-0 ahead.

Two minutes into the second half, another Laotian mid-fielder Noum Angmansongsa doubled the lead for her team by converting a penalty.

Earlier on Friday, Australia U20 downed Thailand 3-0 in the tournament opener. With the victory, Australian U20 has appeared as a favorite of the tournament.

On Saturday, Vietnam will play Myanmar and Malaysia takes on the Philippines.

Eight teams, including Thailand, Australia U20, Indonesia, Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar, Malaysia and the Philippines are competing for the trophy.

In the previous AFF Women' s Championship, Japan bagged home the trophy after beating Australia 5-3 in the penalty shoot-out. Endi
