Xinhua, April 25, 2015 Adjust font size:

Polish Minister of National Defense Tomasz Siemoniak held a meeting with his Denmark and German counterparts on Friday in the Polish seaside town of Szczecin in Multinational Corps Northeast headquarters.

Ministers of Defense Nicolai Wammen of Denmark, and Ursula von der Leyen of Germany took part in a meeting with Siemoniak held in the Multinational Corps Northeast headquarters in Poland, Szczecin.

The ministers discussed the issues of 2016 Warsaw Summit, as well as implementation of last year's NATO Summit in Wales, which decided on strengthening combat readiness of the Multinational Corps Northeast unit.

The ministers agreed that the unit has a crucial meaning for increasing presence of North Atlantic Alliance in the eastern part of Europe.

Poland is a member of the Multinational Corps Northeast together with Germany and Denmark. The corps was created in order to serve geographical and military reasons and foster the stability in Europe. Endit
