French stock market index up 0.44 pct on Friday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 closed with an advance of 0.44 percent at 5,201.45 points on Friday, up 22.54 points.

With the recovery of German's business environment, the CAC 40 closed slightly higher on Friday with 26 of the 40 selected companies gaining advance.

Friday's top three gainers were ArcelorMittal, up 5.13 percent, Renault, up 3.73 percent, and Credit Agricole, up 3.07 percent.

The three companies that lost most on Friday were Technip, down 1.75 percent, Air Liquide, down 1.49 percent, and Alcatel-Lucent, down 1.41 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 closed closed with a decrease of 0.62 percent at 5,178.91 points, down 32.18 points. Endit
