Eurozone household saving rate up to 13.0 pct in Q4 2014

The seasonally adjusted household saving rate in the eurozone was 13.0 percent in the fourth quarter of 2014, up from 12.8 percent of the previous quarter, figures indicated on Tuesday.

The figures are derived from the first release of quarterly European sector accounts released by the statistical office of the European Union (EU) Eurostat and the European Central Bank (ECB) on Tuesday.

Moreover, the seasonally adjusted household investment rate in the eurozone was 8.2 percent in the fourth quarter of 2014, stable compared with the previous quarter. Endit
