Vietnam, Germany promote judicial cooperation

Vietnam and German inked a joint statement and an agreement on cooperation program for the 2015- 2018 period to promote justice ties in Vietnam's capital Hanoi on Tuesday.

The documents, signed by Vietnam's Ministry of Justice (MoJ) and German Federal Ministry of Justice and Consumer Protection, are part of the implementation of the Vietnam-German agreement on legal and judicial cooperation dated in 2008, the MoJ said on its website.

According to the documents, the two sides will coordinate in experience sharing to build and perfect the legal system in criminal procedures, civil affairs and procedures, as well as strengthen law enforcement.

Other cooperation contents include enhancing awareness of residents on legal affairs, expanding the participation of residents and legal entities in developing and implementing laws. Endi
