China stocks open lower Friday

Chinese stocks opened lower on Friday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 10.04 points, or 0.25 percent, to open at 3,947.49.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 13,718.92, down 77.81 points, or 0.56 percent.

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, shed 20.93 points, or 0.84 percent to open at 2,475.55 points. Endi
