1st LD: Shooting at U.S. Census Bureau leaves one critically injured

A guard at the U.S. Census Bureau headquarters in Suitland, Maryland, was shot and critically wounded Thursday, local media reported.

The Prince George's Fire Department said in a tweet that emergency responders were on the scene Thursday evening. The adult who suffered gunshot wounds to his upper body was being treated.

Spokesman of the Prince George's County fire department Mark Brady told CBS that the man sustained at least one gunshot wound and was being taken to a local hospital in "extremely critical condition".

SWAT teams were searching for the shooter who is reported to be still at the building. Endite
