Pilots of India's national carrier Air India fight inside cockpit

Xinhua, April 6, 2015 Adjust font size:

Two pilots of the country's national carrier Air India reportedly had a fight inside the cockpit just before the plane was about to take off from the western city of Jaipur.

The incident happened Sunday evening when the co-pilot of flight number AI 611 beat up the pilot of the Airbus A-320, the reports said on Monday.

The flight, however, flew to the Indian capital of New Delhi after the pilots decided to operate the passenger plane "in the interest of the airline," sources were quoted as saying.

However, Air India has played down the incident, calling it a minor argument between the captain and the co-pilot, even though both the pilots have been suspended from flights. Endi
