Chen Long beat Lin Dan as China wins 3 titles in Malaysia Open

World top ranked shuttler and top seed Chen Long of China beat compatriot and five-time world champion Lin Dan in the men's singles final here on Sunday.
In the first game, Lin scored a hard victory by 22-20. However, due to a series of mistakes of Lin and an accelerated pace of Chen, Chen won the next two games by 21-13 and 21-11.
Lin said at the press conference that he felt unsatisfied about his performance in the second half of the second game and the third game.
"I made too many mistakes," he said.
Lin said that he would come back next year as the Malaysia Open is the only Premier Superseries title missing from his collection of trophies.
Chen said he was happy about the win, adding that he still needed to learn from the top players such as Lin Dan and Lee Chong Wei.
In the women's doubles final, China's Luo Ying/Luo Yu beat Chang Ye Na /Jung Kyung Eun of South Korea at 21-18, 21-8 to seal their first Super Series title.
Top seeds Zhang Nan/Zhao Yunlei outgunned teammates Xu Chen/Ma Jin 21-16, 21-14 in an all-Chinese final to win the mixed doubles events.
Reigning world champion Carolina Marin of Spain thwarted Li Xuerui's attempt for an ideal comeback from an injury lay-off when she beat the Chinese 21-19, 19-21 and 17-21.
"I missed some opportunities in the match," said Li, adding that she was satisfied with her performance as it was her first competitive event following an injury.
In the men's doubles final, Indonesia's Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan rallied to beat South Koreans Lee Yong Dae/Yoo Yeon Seong 14-21, 21-15, 23-21. Endi
