Jordan reports fresh 5 fatalities from swine flu

Jordanian Health Ministry said Sunday five fatalities were reported from the H1N1 influenza strain known as swine flu since the beginning of 2015, the state-run Petra news agency reported.
Deifallah Lozi, the ministry's secretary general, said about 130 cases of the influenza were registered since the beginning of this year including those who died.
He added that the ministry will continue to take measures to combat the spread of influenza.
H1N1 influenza has killed at least 40 people in Jordan in recent years.
In 2009, H1N1 epidemic erupted in Mexico and spread into a worldwide pandemic. Endit
