Two-time champion Andy Murray of Britain reached the Miami Masters final after a 6-4, 6-4 semi-final win on Friday over Czech Tomas Berdych.
Third-seeded Murray, who won the title in 2009 and 2013, needed an hour and 42 minutes to get past Berdych.
His reward will be a final clash against either world number one Novak Djokovic of Serbia or American John Isner.
The two sets unfolded in identical fashion, as Murray opening with a break of eighth-seeded Berdych's serve, dropping his own serve then breaking again.
"I thought it was a high quality match," said Murray, who joined the elite club of players with 500 match wins earlier this week. "We were both striking the ball clean." Endi
