Albanian weightlifters get 2-8 years suspension for doping

Albanian weightlifters Daniel Godelli, Romela Begaj and Hysen Pulaku have received heavy punishment by the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF), Albanian Daily News reported on Saturday.

Godelli and Begaj were suspended with 2 years of sports activities, while Pulaku was punished with 8 years of suspension.

Results of doping tests of Godelli, Begaj and Pulaku were positive after an international event held in Kazakhstan.

Stanozonol, a substance that is used to both animals and humans to increase muscle mass, was found in the bodies of all these three weightlifters. Endi
