1st LD: Suicide bombing kills, wounds dozens in Afghanistan's Khost province

A suicide bombing rocked Afghanistan's Khost provincial capital the Khost city on Thursday, leaving three dozen people killed and injured, provincial police chief Faizullah Ghairat said.

"The blast occurred near the provincial governor house at 09:30 a.m. local time," Ghairat told reporters.

Police have cordoned off the area and don't allow journalists to get access.

More details would be provided after the completion of investigation, the official added. Endi
