Ghana names provisional squad for FIFA U-20 world cup

The head coach of Ghana's Black Satellites Sellas Tetteh has submitted a provisional 35-man squad to FIFA ahead of the U-20 World Cup in New Zealand.

Tetteh will select his final 21-man squad from the provisional list for the tournament which will begin on May 30 and ends on June 20.

The Black Satellites are in Group B alongside Argentina, Panama and Austria. Ghana, who placed third at the 2015 African Youth Championship in Senegal, will open their campaign against Austria on Saturday May 30 at the Wellington Regional Stadium in New Zealand.

Mali, Nigeria and Senegal are the other sides to represent Africa at the U20 World Cup.
