Two soldiers killed and 28 injured in accident in Sri Lanka

Two army soldiers were killed and 28 other civilians were injured when an army truck collided with a passenger bus in Sri Lanka, police said.

Police said the bus had been traveling from the capital Colombo to Moneragala in the Uva district when it collided with the army truck at Ratnapura, 100 kilometers southeast of Colombo.

The wounded have been rushed to a nearby state hospital for further treatment.
