China welcomes Russia, Finland's applications to AIIB

China has welcomed the applications of Russia and Finland to join the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank on Monday, one day before the deadline to join the bank as a founding member.

Russia and Finland will become founding members on April 14 and April 12, respectively, should all existing members approve, according to a statement on the Finance Ministry's website. Endi
