Australia has decided to sign a Memorandum of Understanding on the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), which would allow Australia to become a founding member of the bank, Prime Minister Tony Abbott said on Sunday.
In a joint statement with Foreign Minister Julie Bishop and Treasurer Joe Hockey, Abbott said the MOU will enable Australia " to participate as a prospective founding member in the negotiation of setting up the bank." (Australia-AIIB)

JAKARTA -- Rescuers have found 12 bodies after a landslide hit West Java of Indonesia on Saturday night, official said on Sunday.
Heavy downpours triggered collapse of a hill in Tegal Panjang village of Sukabumi district at 22:30 p.m. Jakarta time Saturday ( 1530 GMT) and buried 11 houses, said Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, spokesman of the national disaster management agency. (Indonesia- Landslide)

KABUL -- At least three persons were killed while eight people, including a lawmaker, were wounded in a suicide bombing in the Afghan capital of Kabul on Sunday, an official source said.
"A suicide bomber struck the vehicle of Gul Pacha Majidi, a member of lower house of parliament, leaving three killed and eight others injured," a security source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity. (Afghanistan-Bombing) Endi
