Xinhua, March 24, 2015 Adjust font size:

Visiting Iranian Culture Minister Ali Janati stressed Tuesday that "eradicating terrorism requires joint efforts from all concerned governments," the National News Agency reported.

Janati's remarks came following separate meetings he held with Lebanese Prime Minister TAmmam Salam at the Grand Serail and Speaker Nabih Berri at Ain el-Tineh.

The minister discussed with Berri bilateral ties as well as overall developments at the local and regional scenes, said the report.

He said eradicating terrorism requires joint efforts from all governments of the countries suffering from it.

The Iranian official stresses his country's commitment to security and stability of Lebanon and its "backing for the Lebanese national unity." Endit
