Xinhua, March 24, 2015 Adjust font size:

Two Indonesian soldiers were found dead on Tuesday in Aceh province in the northern tip of Sumatra Island, a military officer said.

The two soldiers were kidnapped and killed by gunmen in North Aceh district, Brigadier General Wuryanto, spokesman of the Indonesian army, said.

The two soldiers were attacked by the gunmen on Monday morning when they were conducting socialization program for the villagers at Alumbang village of Nisam Antara sub-district, the spokesman said. "On Tuesday morning, the villagers found the two soldiers were dead," said Wuryanto at the army headquarters. "The two are members of Aceh military command," he added.

Provincial police and the military have coordinated to hunt the unidentified gunmen. Endi
