Former secretary general of Sierra Leone's ruling party Victor Bockarie Foh was named as the country's new Vice President, according to a Thursday press release from the Office of the President.

Mr. Foh takes over from the sacked Vice President Alhaji Samuel Sam Sumana who was expelled from the governing All People's Congress (APC) party and later relieved of his duties on March 17.

Mr. Foh was the secretary general of the APC party until 2012. Endi
