Xinhua, March 19, 2015 Adjust font size:

Brazilian Goulart Pereira scored twice as Guangzhou Evergrande overcame Kashima Antlers 4-3 to continue their winning streak in AFC Champions League Group H here on Wednesday.

Goulart opened the scoring in the 10th minute. Elkeson helped the home side level the score in the 58th minute after Takasaki Hiroyuki equalized in 36th minute and Doi Shoma scored for the visitors in the 52nd minute.

Goulart used a stunning individual performance to score his second goal and Zhao Xuri netted the fourth goal for the host team in the 92nd minute for a 4-2 lead, only to see Shibasaki Gaku score a consolation goal just before the final whistle.

Goulart headed into the back of the net in the 10th minute before Huang Bowen made a promising cross into the box from the right side free-kick.

Hiroyuki equalized for the visitors in the 36th minute after Li Shuai dropped Shoma's shot.

Kashima were in front just before the hour mark as Shoma picked up the loose ball from Li and headed home.

But only six minutes later the home side pulled level as Elkeson copied Goulart's first goal after Huang's cross.

Guangzhou regained the lead in the 62nd minute as Goulart fired the ball to the far post after dribbling along the middle for more than 20 meters.

Zhao Xuri clinched the victory for Guangzhou in the 92nd minute, who beat the keeper after Gao Lin's trough pass. Endi
