Urgent: Israeli officer injured by shots fired from Syrian border

An Israel Defense Forces (IDF) officer was lightly injured on Tuesday evening by fire from across the Israeli-Syrian border, a spokesperson with the Israeli military said in a statement.

The spokesperson said that the shots were fired at the troops "during a routine activity" in the annexed Golan Heights. Endit
