The Chinese Embassy to Lithuania holds a reception to greet the upcoming Spring Festival here on Friday, attracting around 80 Chinese nationals residing in Lithuania to celebrate their most important festival.

"Our fellow Chinese, living in Lithuania, contributed a lot to shape the image of Chinese people, and have achieved a lot in different areas in Lithuania via hard working," said Chinese Ambassador to Lithuania Liu Zengwen in a speech.

"I believe you will contribute more in promoting the exchange and cooperation between China and Lithuania in the coming year," said Liu.

Spring Festival, as the most significant moment for Chinese people to gather with family member, is also celebrated abroad by Chinese nationals.

The Chinese Embassy to Lithuania made a variety of Chinese dishes and provided an arena for the Chinese people here to share ideas and experiences with each other.

Lithuania, with a population of around 3 million, has less than 500 Chinese nationals working or studying. Most of the residing Chinese are running restaurants, up to around 100 across the country, which wins special favor of the local customers. Endit
