Sarajevo presents flag of EYOF 2017

Sarajevo was presented with flag of European Youth Olympic Festival 2017 ( EYOF 2017) during a ceremony here on Friday.

The 25th edition of EYOF, the largest sports event in Sarajevo since 1984 Winter Olympic Games, will kick off on Feb. 11, 2017.

A delegation led by Mayor of Sarajevo Ivo Komsic and Mayor of East Sarajevo Nenad Samardzija presented the flag.

"Ceremony was successful. Flag was presented, which brought back the Olympic spirit in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and which symbolizes peace, friendship and sports competition," said Komsic.

The EYOF is held every two years in Europe, with the 24th event co-hosted by Austria and Liechtenstein. Endite
