Church vandalized in Indian capital again

Xinhua, February 2, 2015 Adjust font size:

A Roman Catholic church was vandalized early Monday by unidentified men in the Indian capital, said police.

The St. Alphonsa church in south Delhi's Vasant Kunj area was found vandalized by at least two men who removed the ciborium and emptied it onto a table, while throwing praying items around, said police.

The men had entered the church by climbing over the boundary wall and they were also seen punching at a glass pane which houses an idol, said police who got CCTV footages.

This is the fourth attack upon Christian churches in the Indian capital since November.

The Indian capital will go to polls early this month for local legislature. Endi
