Xinhua, February 2, 2015 Adjust font size:

Tokyo stocks fell 0.66 percent to a one-week low Monday as weaker-than-expected U.S. data clouded the outlook for the global economy.

The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average was down 116.35 points from Friday at 17,558.04, the lowest close since Jan. 26.

The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange declined 6.32 points, or 0.45 percent, to 1, 408.75.

Major decliners included glass and ceramics, airlines and insurance issues.

The turnover was 2,294.4 billion yen (about 19.50 billion U.S. dollars). Endi
