German benchmark DAX increases slightly

The benchmark DAX index at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange on Thursday increased by 0.25 percent to close at 10737.87 points.

Deutsche Bank AG went up by 2.56 percent, leading the risers' list. Deutsche Telekom AG and Infineon Technologies AG followed with an increase by 1.67 percent and 1.51 percent respectively. The utilities suppliers E.ON SE and RWE AG Stalso climbed up by 1.27 percent and 1.26 percent respectively.

Fresenius SE & Co. KGaA fell the most by 1.71 percent. ThyssenKrupp AG slipped by 1.63 percent. Siemens AG, LANXESS AG, Fresenius Medical Care AG & Co. went down by 1.49 percent, 1.05 percent, 0.96 percent and 0.50 percent respectively.

The Turnover stood at 3.85 billion euros (around 4.36 billion U.S. dollars). Endit
