Singapore stocks close flat

Singapore stocks finished flat on Thursday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 0. 10 points, or 0.00 percent, to close at 3,419.05.

A total of 1.25 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1. 19 billion Singapore dollars (894.7 million U.S. dollars).

Decliners outnumbered gainers 265 to 196, while 478 others finished unchanged.

The STI index gained 6.95 points, or 0.20 percent, to close at 3,419.15 on Wednesday. Endi
