Lacazette sidelined by injury for three weeks

Xinhua, January 27, 2015 Adjust font size:

Leading goal scorer of Ligue 1 Alexandre Lacazette is set to miss Lyon's crucial title clashes against Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain after being sidelined by a hamstring injury for three weeks.

The 23-year-old star sustained the injury in Sunday's 2-0 victory over Metz as he was hauled off before half-time after scoring his 21st goal of the season in 22 league matches.

Getfootballnewsfranc.com quoted his agent on Monday that Lacazette will miss the next three games against last season's runners-up Monaco, defending champions PSG and now 15-placed Lorient in a row.

Sources close to the club have confirmed that this is "probable ", said the website. Endite
