Senior Chinese leader visits Saudi embassy to mourn late King Abdullah

Chinese top political advisor Yu Zhengsheng visited the embassy of Saudi Arabia in Beijing Monday morning to express condolences over the death of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz.

Yu, chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), presented a wreath on behalf of the Chinese Government and wrote a message of deep condolences in the embassy's log book.

King Abdullah died at the age of 90 on Friday. Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday sent a message of condolences to Saudi Arabia's new monarch, Salman bin Abdulaziz, over the death of King Abdullah. Endi
