U.S. President Barack Obama, who is due to visit India from Jan. 26 to 27, has canceled a plan to visit Taj Mahal, one of the seven world wonders at Agra, northern India due to security reasons, said official sources here Saturday.

Obama will be leaving for Saudi Arabia from New Delhi after addressing a select gathering on Jan. 27, said the sources.

India has been on an unprecedented security sweep across the capital to prepare for the visit by the U.S. president. Endi
