Mashaba, Janza, Ibenge only indigenous coaches at Afcon

Three indigenous coaches are the only ones handling teams at the on-going 2015 Africa Cup of Nations ( Afcon) in Equatorial Guinea.
According to the records from the Confederation of African Football (CAF), majority of the coaches taking charge of the 16 teams come from France.
South Africa's Ephraim "Shakes" Mashaba, Zambia's Honour Janza and DR Congo's Florent Ibenge are the three native coaches who are making their first time appearances at the competition.
Congo Brazzaville's coach Claude Le Roy is making his 8th Africa Cup of Nations in about 30 years. He guided Cameroon to the finals in 1986, and won the title with the Indomitable Lions two years later. He was third with Senegal in 1990 and semi-finalist again in 1992, quarter-finalists with DR Congo in 2006, third- place with Ghana in 2008 and finally in 2013 with DR Congo, where the Leopards failed to go past the group stage.
Cote d'Ivoire French born Coach Herve Renard, who won the title with Zambia in 2012 before crashing out at the first round in 2013, is making his third appearance in the competition. Endite
