Chinese Premier Li Keqiang arrived here Tuesday to attend the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting in Davos and pay a working visit to Switzerland.
Li, who is visiting at the invitation of the WEF founder and chairman Klaus Schwab and the Federal Council of Switzerland, will deliver a key-note speech at the meeting and meet representatives of the International Business Council of the forum during his three-day trip. KABUL -- A Taliban-linked bomb blast claimed the lives of nine civilians in Ghazni province with Ghazni city as its capital 125 km south of the national capital Kabul on Tuesday while conflict left seven Taliban fighters dead on the same day, officials confirmed.
In the latest violent incident which occurred in Gilan district of Ghazni province at around noon, nine civilians lost their lives as a mini-bus ran over a mine, a local official said. (Afghanistan-Bombing)

TOKYO -- Japanese top government spokesman Yoshihide Suga said Tuesday that Japan will not be subject to terrorism and vowed ultimate efforts to resolve the hostage crisis, referring to a video released by the Islamic State (IS) on two Japanese captives.
Suga said in a press briefing that Tokyo has been in a bid to confirm the authenticity of the video, adding, "If (the program is) true, using people's lives to threaten us is an unforgivable act." (Japan-Terrorism) Endi
