Dortmund' s Sebastian Kehl sidelined with shoulder injury

Xinhua, January 20, 2015 Adjust font size:

Borussia Dortmund's Sebstian Kehl will be out of action for four weeks due to left shoulder injury, the club confirmed in an official statement on Tuesday.

The defensive veteran midfielder suffered a separated shoulder due to collided with teammate Mats Hummels inside the boxin during the 1-0 victory over Steaua Bucuresti in a friendly.

Kehl's injury is a setback for coach Juergen Klopp, who probably has no defensive midfielder to use in the match against third placed Bayer Leverkusen on Jan. 31, which is the opening game of the second half of the season.

The "BVB" sit currently on the penultimate position of the Bundesliga standings with only 15 points from 17 rounds. Endi
