Real Madrid defeats Getafe 3-0 to lead half way through season

Real Madrid defeated Getafe 3-0 on Sunday to lead with 45 points the La Liga league half way through the season.

In the 19th round match in Getafe's "Alfonso Ramirez" Coliseum in Madrid, Real Madrid played especially well in the second half with two goals scored by Cristiano Ronaldo and one more by Gareth Bale, while Karim Benzema made a spectacular play.

According to the Royal Football Federation (RFEF), the governing body of football in Spain, with the two goals scored on Sunday, Ronaldo reached a total of 289 goals as a player of Real Madrid, breaking the record of 288 goals by former player Carlos Santillana.

In the first half, Real Madrid had a slow game and Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti made some changes in the second half, by replacing Toni Kross, Marcelo Vieira and Francisco Roma "Isco" with Toni Kross, Marcelo Vieira and Francisco Roma "Isco", which improved the team's performance.
