Iceland sees trade surplus decline

Iceland saw its balance of trade declined to a surplus of 56.1 million U.S. dollars in December 2014 from a surplus of 56.6 million dollars in November, Statistics Iceland said Monday.

Preliminary figures show the value of exported goods amounted to 377.5 million dollars, while the value of imported goods amounted to 321.4 million dollars in December 2014.

Compared with November 2014, the value of exported goods in December 2014 decreased 24.1 million U.S. dollars, while the value of imported goods in December 2014 decreased 23.3 million U.S. dollars. Endit
