People rally in Vienna to commemorate victims of gun attacks in France

Some 12,000 people on Sunday gathered in Vienna to commemorate victims of the gun attacks in France in the past week.

The ceremony, held at Ballhausplatz in the capital city of Austria, was joined by Austrian federal government and religious communities.

Before this event, hundreds of people had gathered to show up with flowers and candles at the French Embassy in Vienna.

A massive march in Paris was held on Sunday simultaneously drawing more than 1 million people. Endit
