King Abdullah II of Jordan on Saturday called for unifying efforts among all countries against terrorism.

At a meeting with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shukri, the Jordanian leader voiced his country's full support for Egypt, which plays a pivotal role in the region.

The talks took up ways of enhancing the joint Arab actions regarding different issues and countering terrorism to ensure security and stability in the Middle East.

The two sides also urged more efforts by all influential parties to create the conducive environment for resuming peace talks between the Palestinians and the Israelis based on the two-state solution.
