Spain's industrial production falls by 0.1 pct in November

Spain's industrial production fell by 0.1 percent in November when compared with the same month in 2013, according to the Index of Industrial production (IPI) published on Friday by the Spanish Statistical Office (INE).

According to the INE, production of intermediate goods increased by 4.5 percent in November year-on-year, while production of durable and non-durable consumer goods rose by 3.6 percent and 0.2 percent respectively.

On the contrary, production of energy and capital goods fell by 4.4 percent and 2.3 percent respectively.

The INE also reported that the country's industrial production fell by 0.1 percent from October to November, with production of durable consumer goods and intermediate goods rising by 1.6 percent and 1 percent respectively.

Meanwhile, production of energy and non-durable consumer goods fell by 1.3 percent and 0.5 percent respectively. Enditem
