Dollar changes hands in upper 119 yen line in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 119 yen range early Friday in Tokyo deals, slightly higher from its levels overnight in New York.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 119.79-81 yen compared with 119.60-70 yen in New York and 119.80-81 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday.

The euro fetched 1.1791-1792 dollars and 141.26-28 yen against 1.1785-1795 dollars and 141.08-18 yen in New York and 1.1819-1821 dollars and 141.60-64 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon. Endi
